According to customs data, China’s exports of graphite electrodes in June were 23100 tons, a decrease of 10.49 percent from the previous month and an increase of 6.75 percent over the same period last year. The top three exporters were Russia 2790 tons, South Korea 2510 tons and Malaysia 1470 tons.
From January to June 2023, China exported a total of 150800 tons of graphite electrodes, an increase of 6.03% compared with the same period in 2022. Under the influence of the war between Russia and Ukraine and EU anti-dumping, the proportion of 2023H1 Chinese graphite electrode exports to Russia increased, while that to EU countries decreased.
